I have done a ton of research on Shoe Dazzle to develop this blog.  My first instinct was to jump on the Kim Kardashian band wagon (simply because she is awesome), but then I dug a little deeper into the shoe dazzle website.  All I am going to say is for me personally, I have decided not to join.  I do however want you to make up your own mind as to if it is right for you or not.  I think these steps may help.  I see a lot of concern as to the month fee.  Yes, Shoe Dazzle does have a month fee of $39.95.  Included in this fee you will pick out a pair of shoes, or a bag or jewelery or whatever the “promotion of the month” is.  The shipping is also included.

I had read some complains as to finding Shoe Dazzle shoes elsewhere on the web, so I looked into it.  All I can say is: EBAY

Not kidding!  Ebay offers tons of Shoe Dazzle Shoes…  most are cheaper than buying them from the website, and of course there is no membership to worry about.  So if you are thinking of joining this website, it might be a good idea to try a pair of shoes at a reduced price… just to make sure you like them.

I am not going to say if you should join the website or not.  I have a very good review of the website here so please go visit it to find out the pro’s and con’s on the site.  What I will say is that you should defiantly seek alternatives before you commit to a monthly program.  There are other options of obtaining either the exact shoe, or a similar one.  Shoe Dazzle alternatives can be found and most include free shipping.

Shoe Dazzle or NOT Shoe Dazzle?

So I have been doing research on Shoe Dazzle for a few reasons… one of which is do I personally want to join.  My first thought was HOW COOL!, but then I have been looking and looking at reviews (REAL REVIEWS) of shoe dazzle from people who actually bought the shoes and I have to say… not so impressed.   At first I found all the youtube videos on shoe dazzle that said how great it is, but then I started to do some deep searching of shoe dazzle.  No where on the site does it say what the shoes are made of, so I asked the question… and they are NOT leather, $39.95 and they are not leather…  I can go to Target and buy real leather shoes for $29.95 why would I pay $10 more at shoe dazzle?

So the shoe dazzle reviews that most bother me is that they seem to be going downhill already.  The first reviews are great quality, good customer service, and of course the shoe selection.  Now the shoe selections on the shoe dazzle website is still good, and they are very high style, but I have read time after time of the quality not so great.

**”I joined the site to get exclusive shoes, since that is what they offered. A lil over 3 months into it I realized that not only were the shoes offered NOT exclusive, they are not even made by ShoeDazzle. They purchase the shoes from other manufacturers and replace the lables with their own and dont even bother to try and hide it. Some of the shoes are made by MA and CL and they did leave those labels on some of the shoes but most they switch out, to give you the ‘impression’ that they designed them. When I discovered this and complained to the company they at first seemed to feel apologetic for ‘misrepresenting the exclusivity’ of the shoes and went so far as to give me a credit to try and make up for it and promised me that new and exclusive shoes were coming, but please keeep my mouth shut to other members. Well after 3 more months, not only was there no change in the shoe selection, they re-worded the Statement on SD to read nothing about exclusive shoes, they also changed their policies stating that they could cancel your account at ANY time for ANY REASON AND KEEP ANY CREDITS ON YOUR ACCOUNT AT THE TIME OF CANCELLATION. So that is what they did, they canceled my account and a few other of my friends that had complained, they deleted all exsistance of me on any fanpage on social networking sites. So just beware ladies, the shoes are NOT exclusive, they never were, most (about 95%) are available on other websites for almost half the cost and your getting ripped off. I realize that some will say you are paying for the ‘stylist’ personal selections….well those dear ladies are names, Dell, HP or any other computer, yes they might have 5-6 stylists that go out each month and find shoes from other manufacturers to add to their database, but then a simple click of a button decides what gets dumped into your showroom on the 1st of each month, and many fans go to Twitter or FB to see what other options they can get and then have to call CS to order other pairs, so how is that not the same as ordering from any other website? Its joke Ladies, and you need to remove the veil and see that you are being taken for a SD joyride and they will boot your butt to the side the moment you start complaining!!” sitejabber.com shoe dazzle review

“I was a member for over 7 months. They promised exclusive shoes and when they did not deliver, they apologized, changed their wording in their marketing, and changed nothing. Stylists do not exist. Your selections each month are computer generated from your answers to their joke of a survey. I know this because they have sent me several shoes in my selections that I already owned. And if you complain or question them in any way that does not sing the praises of their company on one of their many fan pages on social networking sites such as Facebook or Twitter, they will call you, cancel your membership, keep whatever credits you may have, ban you from their fan page, and delete all comments made by you on said fan page. Basically they delete your existence, so that other members will not be aware of the problem you were facing. I know this because it has happened to me.
A representative of Shoe Dazzle called my home and told me in no uncertain terms that my negative comments and feedback were not welcome or appreciated on the fan page on Facebook. Also, my messages to other fans (who asked, by the way) about where to find the shoes cheaper, was against their terms of service. Mind you these were personal messages, not public posts to a wall. Which leads me to believe they have employees post asking for the info, and wait for members to answer, and they then ban and cancel those people. Shoe dazzle | My feelings on Shoe Dazzle

The truth is if collecting shoes is your thing than shoe dazzle may just work for you.  If investing in high quality shoes is for you then you just won’t be impressed with shoe dazzle and the quality of man made upper…  I have a pair of not real leather shoes sitting in a box.  I bought them 6 weeks ago and will probably never wear them.  The fact is they are not as comfortable as real leather.  They don’t stretch and breath like that of leather.  I would be happier with shoe dazzle if shoe dazzle went up to $69.95/ month and offered real leather options.  Now, if your feet can take the feel of fake leather then Shoe Dazzle may be the perfect program for you.  The fact is that the customer service is good, the shipping is free and the boxes and presentation is beautiful.   Shoe dazzle has shoes which are very high style and the fact that you don’t have to leave your house is awesome.  My feeling is that shoe dazzle is not for me, but I have plenty of friends that would think this is a really great program.  Shoe dazzle may not be for me, but it may certainly be for you!

So shoe dazzle, would you please inform me as to when you will offer real leather and I will be your number on customer.

I will say if you want to take the shoe dazzle test, it is easy and free.  Once done shoe dazzle will immediately take you to your showroom.  It used to be that you had to wait for your shoe dazzle showroom, but now you go right to it.

Shoedazzle is a brilliant new way to feed your addiction.  It is essentially a “shoe of the month club“… in that once you make your first purchase you then join this monthly club.  You will then have the choice every month to either opt out and not purchase anything, or buy something… each thing you buy is $39.95  (I say thing because there is more than just shoes for sale).  So if you are a shoeaholic like me… then this is a brilliant way to feed your addiction!  Let’s be clear here, the shoes are ANYTHING but boring… they are usually high style and high fashion shoes.  The will certainly make a very colorful addition to any closet.

Shoedazzle |  What is great about shoedazzle?

• Styles of shoes –  they are right in line with what you see in the magazines.  If you want it, shoedazzle probably has something like it

• No Credit Card Until First Purchase — you do not get charged or join club until you make your first purchase.  So you can take your shoe evaluation at the site and then browse the site and check out the selections as much as you want without pulling out your credit card.  Then when and if you see the shoes you like you can purchase.

• Fun and simple –  Okay, so this is fun!  It is fun to see what is going to be in your shoedazzle showroom each month

• One price – every shoe, bag or set you see is the $39.95, this includes shipping and returns/exchanges if you are unhappy with your shoedazzle purchase

• Bags — the bags are beautiful,  I just love the selection… did I mention I also had a slight bag addiction??

• Quality — all thought I have not received my first purchase (I jumped in yesterday after a couple weeks of checking out the inventory),  So many reviews claim that the quality is great.  I will write another post on quality once I receive my shoes.

• Cancel Anytime — you can cancel anytime by calling shoedazzle customer service, there is no minimum purchase amount

Shoedazzle | What is maybe not so great?

• MONTHLY FEE — of course, who what’s to join a monthly club?  Well, I did… but remember you can opt out of a monthly purchase and you will not be charged!  ATTENTION:  YOU MUST DO THIS BY THE 5th OF EACH MONTH YOU DO NOT WANT THE SHOES!!  If you opt out, you can still change your mind.  So I plan to opt out every month and then search without the pressure.

• Can’t touch and feel –  You can try on, touch and feel until your get them home.  There is free return and shipping, so they have accounted for that, but if you are a feeling person, this may not be for you.

• Not Leather — That’s right girls, these shoes are not leather.  For $40 bucks what did you expect?  I have been looking at the shoes that don’t really matter… suede, sandals, or patten leather… once I feel my first pair then I will expand to other types.

Shoedazzle | Conclusion

Shoedazzle can be a lot of fun for those who love shoes.  There are tons of styles and fun accessories so there is most likely always going to be a must have in your shoedazzle showroom.  The style profile is fun to do, (I did it a few times to see the different options I would come up with) and I think that Kim has a great idea and a business that may just have staying power.  Shoedazzle in my opinion is truly a great way to feed your shoe addiction!

OK, so what is Shoedazzle?  Shoedazzle is a website created by Kim Kardashian that is basically a shoe of the month club.  It is $39.95/month AS LONG AS YOU BUY THE SHOE, BAG or JEWELRY in your Style Boutique.  If you don’t like anything then you simple click the button that states you will not be buying this month– IMPORTANT:  YOU MUST CLICK THE BUTTON BY THE 5th OF THE MONTH!  So make sure to check out the selection prior to the 5th so that you can either buy or not.

In my Shoedazzle reviews I actually went through the style profiling a few times… I just wanted to see what the different options are.  There are enough options to find something that I would like to buy, but there are not as many as I thought.  It is a relatively new site, so it may take a while to build up the inventory.  I do think that there is potential here, and that if you are a shoeaholic… then this may just be the perfect site for you.

So while doing my Shoedazzle Reviews I was brought through a series of questions and I had to click what I liked.  It is important to note that it is COMPLETELY free to take your style profile.  You do not start your membership until AFTER your first purchase.  You can take your style profile at the site if you want to see what shoes/bags/jewelery they would pick out for you.

The steps are simple:

1.  Click on the 3 pages of pictures that fit you/your style best

2.  Enter your email address and a password to enter your showroom

3.  Browse around and see the selections of shoes, bags, and accessories that have been picked for you.

4.  Buy if you like something… don’t buy if you don’t.

Doing my shoedazzle reviews was fun.  You can do this too, as they only ask for your email once… it is fun to see how the program works.  I have not bought any shoes as of yet, to be quite honest, I already have the styles of  the options I have.  I will wait for the fall boots to arrive.  I will say I almost purchased the turquoise heels, because I can honestly say I do NOT have those   They I figured there is a reason I don’t… so I left them in my cart.

I have seen many shoedazzle reviews videos of the actually shoe:  I would say half and half as to they like the quality of the shoes, or the shoes are crap.  I personally will not buy them because I want REAL leather in my shoes, but for all you Vegans out there…. here you go high style and man made materials.

One more note on my shoedazzle reviews;  The bags are very cool… they are beautiful bags, but like the style today they are all very large.  I am about 5 ft. tall, so I can’t carry the size off, but if you like bags…then you much check them out, but remember they are not leather either.  So they will have that funky plastic feeling about them… They do however have great styles.
